Beeing founded in the 18th century St. Petersburg preserved most of the historical and architectural monuments that are worth seeing. Yusupov and Taurida palaces are among the best ones in the city, along with the masterpiece of the 18th century architecture the Winter Palace of Peter the Great. A tour to these palaces will take you to another epoch, as the palaces are decorated in the style of the 18th century. Sightseeing tours pass really interesting, so will want to see even more, than is offered. It’s best to book hotels in St Petersburg in the city center so you are make most of your St Petersburg tours.
Getting to Russia is very easy. You can get a flight to St Petersburg, Moscow or even find flights to Vladivostok. Depending on where in the US you are coming from you may find one of these hub cities more convenient than another to arrive to.
